About PNG Family Empowerment Inc.
PNG Family Empowerment Inc. (PNGFE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in Papua New Guinea build sustainable incomes and thriving home-based agribusinesses.
Our vision is simple but bold: 'FAMILY EMPOWERMENT'
We do this through three connected platforms:
-
Training Portal – Affordable, practical courses (K150 each) that teach families how to turn raw resources into high-value products such as coconut oil, cocoa powder, poultry, and honey.
-
Funding Portal – Families that complete training can apply for funding through donations, loans, or equity partnerships to grow their projects.
-
Marketplace Portal – Once trained, families can sell their products online, reaching national and global buyers.
With a yearly Membership (K390), families gain access to all courses, funding opportunities, sales platforms, premium e-services and mentorship support.
Executive Summary: PNG Family Empowerment Inc.
PNG Family Empowerment Inc. is a pioneering, community-driven organization dedicated to transforming families and communities across Papua New Guinea through bold, sustainable development initiatives. Guided by our vision of Family Empowerment and mission to Build A Better Home, we operate through five integrated pillars—Education (Home-Skul), Health (Home-Helt), Entrepreneurship (Home-Bisnis), Land Rights (Home-Land), and Housing & Environment (Home-Base). Our holistic approach blends local wisdom with global best practices to foster self-reliance, dignity, and resilience, creating practical pathways out of poverty and marginalization.
Family Empowerment means equipping families with tools, knowledge, and support. It is the cornerstone of societal transformation because a family is the original institution from which all others flow.
Families are the original schools, churches, businesses, and governments. Empowered families are the true engine of service delivery, the true key to economic development, the answer to socio-economic development. Family Empowerment is the heart of ‘Sevis i kam lo Aidua’. Empowered Families ➔ Higher Household Incomes ➔ Higher Taxes ➔ Better Services for Everyone.
The ‘Family Empowerment’ Program is our national transformation strategy—restoring the family as the foundation of development. We empower families to become the true agents of change and economic growth.
PNG Family Empowerment Inc. endeavours to be a national catalyst for transformative change. We invite forward-thinking partners to join us in building a stronger, more empowered Papua New Guinea—one family at a time.

PNG Family Empowerment Inc. (PNGFE) is a pioneering, community-driven organization dedicated to holistic family and community development across Papua New Guinea. We understand that families are the original institutions — the schools, businesses, churches, and governments — from which all societal progress flows.
Our work is anchored in five integrated pillars:
-
Home-Skul: Education and skills training
-
Home-Helt: Health and well-being
-
Home-Bisnis: Entrepreneurship and digital services
-
Home-Land: Land rights and management
-
Home-Base: Housing, environment, and community networks
Through these pillars, we provide families with tools, knowledge, funding, and support to create sustainable livelihoods and break cycles of poverty and marginalization.
There are two components under our Platform: 1.Policies and 2.Pillars -- both are focused on facilitating 'Sevis kam lo Aidua'
We will ‘Build A Better Home (BABH)’ with 2 hands and 10 fingers

We will use the 5 Pillars to Build A Better Home (BABH), using the Policies as Foundation and Bearer and Roof.

This 'Sevis kam lo Aidua' concept will result in a United & Collaborative Toma Family/Home
There are two components under our Platform: 1.Policies and 2.Pillars. There are 5 Policies and 5 Pillars. Below are the 5 Policies.
Policies (5)
1. Family Empowerment (Slogan / Motto).
PNG Family Empowerment Inc. is an IPA-registered Association for all families. Family Empowerment means equipping families with the tools, knowledge, and support.
2. Power To You (Vision).
“Power To You” is the heart of ‘Servant Leadership’ that is honest, transparent and accountable. “Power To You” is about a leadership that gives power back to the people, enabling everyone to contribute to our LLG’s development and share in its benefits. "You have the power — because you have the right to vote. But for too long, politicians have used that power to grow fat while families grow poor. The real reason people suffer is because elected leaders hoard power and wealth for themselves. The people — not the politicians — are the rightful owners of power. Leadership should serve you, not rule you. And I’m not here to take your power. I’m here to give it back to you — through family empowerment. Power must return to where it belongs — with YOU, the people. Through Family Empowerment, we Build A Better Home — together, from the ground up. ‘Government is for the people, of the people, and by the people’. Em people’s power, na displa power i mas go bek lo yu – ‘Power To You’.
3. Build A Better Home (Mission).
True development begins at home, with every family acting as the first building block of a strong, peaceful, & prosperous community. Thus, every LLG program must be home-based and family-based, because fixing the family and the home is the surest path to fixing society.
4. Financial Security through Food Security
Eat Healthy and Earn Wealthy. Health is true Wealth. Food Security is Financial Power. Agriculture is the backbone of our economy. Financial Security without Food Security is ‘No Security’. Israel’s liberation began with Joseph’s dream and Food Security in Egypt under Pharaoh.
5. Unity and Collaboration
One PNG Home/Family. In a game, players must work as a team to score goals – development/governance is not a 1-man show.
We will ‘Build A Better Home (BABH)’ with 2 hands and 10 fingers

There are two components under our Platform: 1.Policies and 2.Pillars. There are 5 Policies and 5 Pillars. Below are the 5 Pillars.
5 Pillars;
Background:
The LLG Admin Act 1997 states that each Ward must have a Ward Development Committee (WDC) which will be the governing body at the Ward level and must be composed of 5 Associate Members.
Then the ENBPG passed a policy that the 5 WDC Associate Members will take charge of 1.Education, 2.Health & HIV, 3.Economic Development (Agriculture / Livestock / Fisheries), 4.Infrastructure & Land Mobilisation, and 5.Social Development and Law & Order.
Sadly, there is a broken link in service delivery because this structure does not go right down to the home/family level. This is the basis of development because true development starts at home. Families are the building blocks of true progress.
Thus, we formulated and adopted these 5 Pillars below.
1: Home-Bisnis
Every home a business hub and every family a SME earning K200 000 annually from downstream-processing/direct export, integrated backyard farming, commercialization of green gold and white gold from God. Pillar
2: Home-Skul
Every home an education hub – from ECE kits to Youth online Professional Trainings that lead to 100% guaranteed self-employment.
3: Home-Helt
Every home a health hub. Be productive & cut medical costs. Pillar
4: Home-Land
Every home a secured and well-managed land. Pillar
5: Home-Base
Every home a hub of Religion & Faith, Culture & Identity, Law & Order, Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection & Development, Youth Engagement, Family Strengthening, Social Development, and Peace & Justice.
We will use the 5 Pillars to 'Build A Better Home' (BABH), using the Policies as Foundation and Bearer and Roof.

PNGFE Family/Home Standards
Here are the Minimum Family Empowerment Home Standards, based on the five (5) Pillars of the Platform above. They will facilitate 'Sevis kam lo Aidua'.
